What size of "smaller scale" are you looking for? I have a Gothic alphabet that is much more compressed, like this: http://www.wormspit.com/images/Ribbons/andtokeep_ribbon4.jpg but the letters are still 25 cards across (includes the ascenders and descenders). I did one that was TINY - like ten cards across - in brocade; it was just legible, but not really easy to read. I could get two lines of text into a half-inch ribbon, tho!
