That is reasonable. However we have to wonder if Twitter's people will/can be fair in applying this standard to 3rd party clients whose selling point is 'like Twitter's but improved'. I gave Twidroid as an example. Here's another one. The Twitter web interface for direct messages is completely worthless - again I would be happy to dissect it in detail if requested.
