My vote goes to the AVerMedia DVB-T USB 2.0 - http://www.avermedia.com/avertv/Product/ProductDetail.aspx?Id=163 It's marketed as Linux-compatible, does both HD & SD TV, is very versatile, and an excellent performer. I have a $30 amplified indoor antenna from Dick Smith plugged into it and I get great reception on all channels (although being located in central Sydney makes this a bit easier of course). Live HDTV using Kaffeine is brilliant - better than the included Windows software which always seems to produce slightly weird looking pictures no matter how much I try and adjust it. Recording via commandline with dvb-utils and playback via mPlayer works a treat. Instant PVR without the hassle of setting up Myth TV! -- ubuntu-au mailing list ubuntu-au@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-au
