Another idea is to simply put the cli name in the about box instead of
'file browser' nauilus.

For a real hoot, try installing Elementary (based on Gnome) then try using
their file browser (named 'files') get fed up with its limitations and
install nautilus 'files' and then try to determine which one will launch...
