Tryin to think of the possibilities, how would it be a hardware issue as this a pretty wide range of hardware ? Mine and many others have all new hardware. That would kinda suck. I just got a bunch of updates so I'm gonna try 3d again tonight. If it keeps freezing I will create a bug report for Unity 3d.
