>From where did you get those numbers? What I am seeing is that the DNG file has a DNGPrivateData tag with 102400 Bytes (100KB). This tag cannot be copied to the JPG file, since the JPG format has a limit of 64KB for its EXIF segment. Do you know of any interesting information that is lost in the JPG file? You might want to use ExifTool to study and compare the data in both files.
