Hi Folks, I have got a client which is running SUN RAY 3.0 on about 8 sites and servers are V210 and couple of V100 running solaris 9. So each site has one or two (depending on client size) SUN RAY servers. The customer is currently facing problems like new Mice detectoin issues on Windows termicals and also USB sticks detection issue over a Citrix session on clients as to appear as drive. DST patcing also need to be addressed.
So generally speaking these boxes have not been touched since they day these were built in 2005/6. Now I want some guidance on addressing these issues 1: Are these issues related to old firmware on clients? If I upgrade firmware on server will it be automatically pushed to servers. I have no past experience managing SUN Ray controller or client so unsure about it? 2: How I can detect the current Firmware on server, I can see a few firmware related commands in manual (utfwadm, utfwload, utfwsync)? 3:- Where from I can download the latest SUN Ray firmware for SRS 3.0? I try to find on SUN standard software site but couldn't get it. Or it's part of patch 114880-12? 4: I presume the latest 9_Recommended patch bundle would address the DST issue or should I just apply the latest DST patch for Solaris 9 113225-17 (SPARC)?. Any help will be greatly appreciated .
