Trying again, from a different address, since it bounced from the list <sigh/>.
While we're on the topic of patches and dependencies, if you haven't already, it's well worth looking at patchfinder ( http://sunsolve.sun.com/patchfinder/). You can, for example, enter Patch ID 113225, click "Search", see the latest rev at the top of the list, click "Add Patch" on the right to add it to your download "basket", then "Go to Patch Basket". This will show you all the patches in your basket, and a patch download list _including_ dependencies. Lots of good info on the Patch Corner blog: http://blogs.sun.com/patch/ On Thu, Nov 5, 2009 at 12:31 PM, Travis Freeland <travis.freeland at gmail.com>wrote: > G'day, > > In regards to assuming that the patch bundle is going to cover all of the > patch requirements for your server it wont. > If you want to see all the patches that are applicable to your server then > I'd suggest you ran pca (http://www.par.univie.ac.at/solaris/pca/) on your > server to see what patches are applicable to your server. > > And in regard to the sun ray firmware... from reading the readme in > 114880-12 it looks like the firmware is included in the patch. > > Regards, > > Trav > > Email: travis at geelong.com > Mobile: 0419313915 > > > 2009/11/5 Zia-ul-Hassan Zia <zhasaan at gmail.com> > >> Hi Folks, >> >> I have got a client which is running SUN RAY 3.0 on about 8 sites and >> servers are V210 and couple of V100 running solaris 9.
