Hi all, Here's what we have downloaded for the mirror so far:
/archlinux - entire distribution (ISOs & packages for i686 & x86_64) - 20GB /fedora - v8 packages and ISOs for i386 & x86_64 - 62GB /gentoo-portage - ebuilds - 0.5GB /gos - v1 and v2beta - 3GB /pclinuxos - all (ISOs & packages) - 31GB /sabayonlinux - all (ISOs & packages) - 30GB /ubuntu - all packages for i386 - 70GB so far /ubuntu-iso - all - 37GB /misc - (for other software, such as code that came from UMD people) /misc/amanda - 50MB /misc/findbugs - a bit /misc/??? - there must be more... I don't know what part of the repository to get for each of: Debian FreeBSD Xandros (Where do you find the "open circulation" edition & packages?) Things I'm considering getting: Gentoo distfiles (another 53 GB of original source files) Planned services (some pending OIT's OK): HTTP, FTP and RSYNC Full access to: - on-campus users (We have a gigabit ethernet link.) - Internet2 - other University System of MD schools - off-campus students/faculty/staff (Tie an IP to your directory ID.) Limited access (less popular or mirror-lacking software, and UMD stuff) to: - the public Internet There are also plans to setup CVS, SVN, GIT, FTP, etc., hosting for whoever wants it. If anything's missing, let me know... - Ken
