In general, I'm not sure what UMD would like its relationship with Amanda to be, but we're open to whatever you'd like. We can talk about that while I'm there at the next meeting. As for mirroring Amanda from SourceForge, that sounds great! Zmanda also produces various binaries for the community version (RPMs, debs, pkg's, etc.), which might be worth mirroring.
