gparted doesnt detect my video driver so it can't run X, so i use SystemRescueCD which is great, i use xvesa instead of normal x but it can run either and it comes with gparted and a whole lot of other tools. what i didn't understand is how to choose which OS's GRUB/menu.lst will go into the MBR. meaning i want ubuntu's to have the MBR not debian. how do i choose that (theyre /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2 respectively)
