Seems to me that when folks who had spent some 15 years drafting, researching, and presenting the SHCG Historical District Designation theses same people who had canvassed the neighborhood, supported the designation with a house by house historical significance survey, and narrative by educated specialists about the significance of the designation were shot down by AK and gang. For really no logical reason they gave bizarre explanation involving being "authentic stakeholders" or apartment- lords not wanting people to step on their toes to preventing them from remuddling historic structures. Heaven forbid UCD propose a plan to keep up the neighborhood!! Someone new who picks on me for undisclosed reasons of her own?
