Agree that NTFS is not the best choice on Linux, but with the script that automatix2 offer, you'll get both read and write support on NTFS volumes. It's meant as a time-saver, if you don't have the time to copy all of those files to an ext3 (or whatever) partition. I have dual boot here, and I can read and write on the NTFS partitions I have for windows. You could have both CC and Debian on your HD, a dual boot setup. It can be hard to manage if your not into partitioning, GRUB or LILO, or if you screw something up along the way, but it's an alternative. Although I think that the installer handles GRUB nicely, as it finds your existing OS's and automatically add them to GRUBs list. -- FAF ------------------------------------------------------------------------ FAF's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10716 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35851 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
