Well, it's totally different than your guesses: Squeezecenter just
reads the iTunes Music Library.xml file and there is all the
information.
All of my songs (nearly) are in WAV format, because mp3 isn't good
enough and flac isn't supported by iTunes yet.

There was no problem when using SlimServer 6.5.4, only after upgrading
to Squeezecenter the problem showed up.
