I've been a Fedora guy since...oh, I don't know, Core 2? I'm currently running Fedora 12 with no GUI (level 3) headlessly on my production server. Before I upgrade to 13 (or superstitiously wait until 14 next fall) I thought I would kick the tires on Ubuntu server 10.04....which I'm doing now.
My only subjective impression about Ubuntu thus far has been my past superficial observation that the Desktop edition 8.10 running Gnome "felt" a little fleeter-of-foot in comparison to Fedora 10 + Gnome. But I haven't yet formed any opinions about the current 10.04 server edition. Not having much Ubuntu experience, do any of you care to enlighten me as to it's pros and cons vis a vis Fedora/CentOS? -- gharris999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79161 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
