Having just upgraded from 1.18b to 1.19, I've noticed a significant deterioration in WiFi performance on my 256MB Model B and Edimax EW-7811UN USB WiFi dongle.
Without connection to my USB amp, I noticed a very large number of dropped packets when playing either FLAC files or internet radio stations. When connected to the USB amp, music was unplayable with multi-second dropouts every 5-10 seconds. Changing buffer settings appeared to have no effect. Dropping back to 1.18b appears to have restored functionality, discounting a h/w problem. I notice from the release notes for 1.19 that changes have bee made to the wifi routines. Is it possible that these may have introduced a regression/issue?
