First post in ages, forgot my credentials from way back so I'll quickly
introduce myself:
Bought a Slimserver long before Logitech bought them and loved it (still
do). The old ones started to die on me so I looked at second hand, they
just died quicker. Just when I was getting desperate I 'discovered' the
Pi and the fantastic work done by the makers of PiCorePlayer.
In addition to a Squeezebox Classic and a Touch I now have two Pis (2
and 3) with Hifiberry DAC+ Pros running on PiCorePlayer 2.04, absolutely
fantastic. Once I sorted out my home network it took all of 3 minutes to
get them up and running.
I built a custom enclosure for one of them and there will be more. Good
fun.

Anyway: on-topic now, I would love to have the ability to have a
standalone LMS server and client in one, which I think paul- is
referring to above. Rather than following GerreIt's tutorial from
ewlsewhere, I'd rather use PiCorePlayer for it. So I second the request
to post how you go about doing that.

Thanks in advance!

Laurens
