hi ziegelstein, You have to remember that piCore is an embedded Linux. It does a fresh Linux install into RAM every time it boots. This leads to a very robust system, but we (you) have to specifically handle dynamic files like configuration files, to make sure they are backed up and restored.
Also, it uses busybox which is a very small implementation of basic Linux commands with only common arguments. The ALSA implementation is not quite like "normal" Linux distributions. I am sure that there are people running multiple instances of squeezelite on piCorePlayer, the topic pops up every six months or so. regards Greg ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Greg Erskine's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7403 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106755 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
