You have to remember that piCore is an embedded Linux. It does a fresh
Linux install into RAM every time it boots. This leads to a very robust
system, but we (you) have to specifically handle dynamic files like
configuration files, to make sure they are backed up and restored.

Also, it uses busybox which is a very small implementation of basic
Linux commands with only common arguments.

The ALSA implementation is not quite like "normal" Linux distributions.

I am sure that there are people running multiple instances of
squeezelite on piCorePlayer, the topic pops up every six months or so.
