I got the screen for Christmas, so I presume it's the newer screen. The power and audio cables are at the bottom. Everything works perfectly well now with the default rotate setting, but it was a nonsensical process to get there. First boot - upside down. Change to 'rotate screen' and reboot - still upside down.
