Not really, systemd handles old init scripts okay. I'm just not sure why --norestart was needed with the older Debian packages.
Oh, that's LMS specific: there's the squeezebox_safe (or similar) wrapper script which would automatically restart LMS if it crashed. Therefore LMS should not be re-started internally. But it could just exit to get restarted. I'd need to customize the restart related code in S::U::OS::Debian.
