Regarding the isolcpus=0 issue.

I also see it on a Pi3.

I issued a ticket over at RPi kernel git.


You can check the status with:

#cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/isolated 
3

Just for fun I isolated 2,3. It'll look like

#cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/isolated
2-3



On a normal non-busybox system you could run

ps -eLo psr,pid,tid,command

to see what's going on the process and thread side. 

I'll keep you posted.
