I have a 7600 with a G3 card and have installed X 10.2.1 with Xpostfacto. I did not have the 8 gig limit using the SIIG 100/133 card. That is the only harddrive connection I have in my Mac as the original harddrive is long gone and dead. It was just a 50 pin scsi any way.
