Surely someone reading this list could provide some good technical information or links to documentation that might shed some real light (I searched this list archives) on what would be needed to get audio in and out to function on 7300-9500 mobo's under OS X. ( Is it a hardware limitation, software, timing, QuickTime dependency or what?) Since Apple's audio drivers seem to be USB specific under OS X I thought maybe using something like the Griffin iMic might be a work-around. Griffin tells me third party USB cards won't function this way with their product and Apple's audio driver for OS X. Where are the drivers located so we could take a look at them anyway? Does anyone know of any other third party PCI/USB/Firewire hardware/software combination that do work with OS X for audio in and out? Opcode's DATport? or is someone just going to have to come up with a hack or driver to get this to function. Thanks, Steve
