Yes, I got the same response when I first asked whether iMic would
work with (in my case) a PowerMac 6500, OS 9.2.2 setup. However, I
asked again, got a different tech support person, someone who by
chance is also a Mac owner, and was told to go ahead, it works fine.
I'm expecting an iMic delivery this Monday. I'm getting it for the
advertised reason, to enhance sound out of my external speakers.
We'll see.
Also, Robyn Lyons mentioned using iTunes with a PowerMac 6500...
I decided to skip iTunes and go right to the source, SoundJam. Found
a web site where a complete download of the last SoundJam incarnation
is available for download. That, too, is something I'll first try out
this Monday. We'll see (again).
