Eh? I have Sonnet Tango in one of the lower slots and have experienced absolutely no problems. However, I have had some freezing issues when trying to run my Formac ProTV/Stereo card in the lower slots. With the Codec extension enabled, my S900 freezes after the desktop loads. By the way, their customer service is pretty lude. They sent me a pretty nasty email on how they don't support "third party Frankenmac hardware"...so I guess having a clone somehow violates their warranty? Just a heads up to you guys. Anyhow, with minimum extensions enabled, the card runs fine in any lower slot (which means restarting my Mac to watch TV) and my two upper slots are taken by the Radeon, which requires one of the upper slots, and the Tempo ATA 133, which also seems to require one. Has anyone else managed to make one of these cards work in a lower slot, or do any of you have a third party solution to getting the TV tuner card to work in a lower slot? Any other software out there? Thanx. If I could get OS X to install, I probably wouldn't have these issues, but it seems I am the only one on Earth with an S900 that won't run OS X. AAAARGH!
