Norton's took a long time - like all day - but it did a gang buster of a job.
I managed to recover about 95% of what got trashed. I got 100% of my images back and the other 5% was some older apps that I know I can replace.
I just freaked out because of the pictures that got deleted. So far I haven't noticed any major corruption with anything that was recovered.
