I was able to install Panther on my beige G3 tower by turning off the L2/L3
cache during boot.  Xpostfacto 3.0a9 I believe did the trick.  I had to use
a second PCI video card though, which is fine as I think the built-in video
is not good enough anyway.  I have 384 megs of RAM.
