Next Question: I am running an iBook 500 with OS X. Can I set-up the 7100/66
as a printer hub of some sort to print to a Personal Laser Writer 320 from
the iBook through the 7100? Should I just set-up the 320 with a direct
Ethernet link to the iBook? Email the doc I want to print to the 7100 and
print from there? Suggestions and experiences are gratefully appreciated.

Unless I am missing something, don't all your Macs and Printer have ethernet (no experience with LW320)? If yes then go and buy a cheap 10 mbit hub and network them all, then each computer can print and also see/talk to each other.

If printer is only local talk run 7100 under OS 8.6 or later and use something like LaserWriter Bridge so your iBook can "see" the printer. Should only need a crossover cable for ibook to 7100 via ethernet and then appletalk cable from 7100 to LW320.

I have G5 1.8 talking to 9600 over ethernet (via hub) and HP4ml connected to 9600 (OS9.1) via appletalk, works beautifully.
