Peter is correct about needing PCI. Another thing: The fastest video 
available for the 7100 (Prism GT or Thunder 24) is hardly usable for web 
browsing in OS 8x and 9x. A 7100 could never be usable for OSX on video 
performance alone. It would be more than slow, it would be unusable by 
any measure.

No.

OS X requires at least a PCI bus, even with XPostFacto. It also needs a 604e
(10.1) or G3 (10.2 or later) to boot from, so the Sonnet Crescendo 7200 which
boots on the 7200's 601 and uses it as a kind of I/O processor won't work.
