Everything except the card swapped -- and no change :-(

Feed the packets in slowly and all is well ... Take it up to full speed and
it falls off.

Testing from an OS9 machine, and using some old network software shows
regular peaks of packet retransmission (around 1% or so every second or two)

Any suggestions for a card variety that works well in such a setup
gratefully received (even better if you know of a source in the UK)
