Hello all. I'm wondering this: I have a Beige G3 with Panther installed and XPF and have the drive divided into 2 partitions. I may be getting ahold of a Blue and White G3. What would I need to do to move this hard drive to the BW and be able to use it as it is? Do I disable XPF somehow?

hi,

I had a cloned Panther installation made with a BW on a Firewire Drive, run xpf over it, cloned it again to a scsi drive and it worked in a 9500 compatible (umax supermac)

now I also got hands on a 2nd cheap BW and just pulled the drive outa the firewire case and built it in the BW, it booted well, kinda ignored the xpf kexts and startup items. Later I used the xpf application to uninstall the xpf kexts and all was fine

so it should work afais

go'luck,
Sven
