I wish it didn't cost so much so more folks with a beige could get their hands on it. As it is, I don't think I would have been willing to spend what they're charging for it. But I got it from a friend who was too frustrated with trying to run OS X in his beige tower, so he got a used G4 and he sold me his upgrade if I helped him install OS X in his G4 b/c he couldn't get the machine to recognize his hard drive. He made the offer literally minutes before I was going to order the 800 mhz version.
Sooooo..... have you told him that you now have a fully working 1GHz Beige G4?
