Now I'm going to wait for the iPod to come down $50.00 and I'll be able to get one of those suckers. I wanted the white 15 iPod, but I want to be able to run with it and I've been told by some people that it's not suitable for running. Others tell me it's been great for running.
I use a Creative Zen and it's fine when I'm running, altho' I do hold it in my hand and not strapped to my waist.
It's even based on a lower-tech 2.5" notebook hard drive, not the Toshiba PCMCIA one in the white iPods. The MiniPod is an IBM/Hitachi CF-sized Microdrive, of course.
The 20MB Zen was about 150 cheaper than a 20MB iPod.
I'd say ignore the nay-sayers and go with it.
