I have an IX Micro TT128 card driving a second monitor at work. It worked seamlessly w/Jaguar. You are right, in that it is unsupported under Panther. However, it will work with a minor hack through the terminal. The kicker is you need a supported card to connect a monitor to so you can use the terminal. Since I'm using the TT128 for a second monitor, I already have my main monitor running off the stock card the machine came with, so I have a usable monitor when the machine boots up. <snip>

I just went through this trying to install 10.3 on my 9600. I finally succeeded by using the "Allow Old NDRVs" or whatever the checkbox is on XPostFacto. I meant to post back here after my original post asking for help, but hadn't. It works for me anyway :)
