One ram slot, but all of the above is valid only if it's what you need or want. Truthfully, 99% of computers out there NEVER get any sort of upgrade at all; so why pay for something you're not going to use?


I see this puzzled reaction from people like folks on this list, who are definitely hackers (in the old, good sense of the word) but believe me...the vast majority of computer consumers out there use what came with their machine. You are NOT who Apple is aiming for.

Hell, I see three year old laptops out there that still have all the advertising stickers on 'em that they came with! I always check these people's hats to see if the price tag is still on ;-)
