Sure there may be some bias, but that's not the reason. I myself did not get a degree. However, I strongly recommend most people getting one. My early job opportunities were greatly hindered by my lack of a degree. I was pretty much held back for 5+ years building the equivalent experience. I guess a person may rather save the money and instead work crappy jobs for several years. That's a choice. Or like Chris said, work your crappy job *and* go to school, experience + schooling = bonus points. _______________________________________________ UPHPU mailing list [email protected] http://uphpu.org/mailman/listinfo/uphpu IRC: #uphpu on irc.freenode.net
