Some more try&error results: Searching for any of these /jcr:root/sbkv-hll//*[jcr:contains(*,'ouml')] /jcr:root/sbkv-hll//*[jcr:contains(*,'ouml;')] /jcr:root/sbkv-hll//*[jcr:contains(*,'ö')] will find the node containing the "persönlich" word
Searching for /jcr:root/sbkv-hll//*[jcr:contains(*,'ouml;n')] will return nothing! I search the jcr documentation for illegal characters, but the ones used here are all save...? Any ideas anyone?
