Thanks for the pointer, Jan. I'm astonished myself that this has not been in the JIRA. Most likely because you can get it two work with the hacks mentioned above. For what it's worth, I added it to the JIRA last week: http://jira.magnolia-cms.com/browse/MAGNOLIA-5014
Since you said that the index removes % and ; I of course tried //*[jcr:contains(*,'*persoumlnlich*')] //*[jcr:contains(*,'*pers ouml nlich*')] -> nothing So I read a bit more about Lucene index and found a JBoss issue where they were talking about jcr and lucene wildcards. Apparently "*" is a Lucene wildcard. So I tried //*[jcr:contains(*,'*pers*ouml*nlich*')] -> nothing Took it apart //*[jcr:contains(*,'*pers*ouml*')] -> Finds the component! As for the moment, I don't see a consistent rule in this. And: No consistent rule = no way to transform the query into something which will work. So any pointers, experiences etc. are warmly appreciated! -will -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=6fad7668-e74d-4c52-be5d-4f337fe56482 ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ----------------------------------------------------------------
