Hi again Nils There are plenty of bugs in JIRA that have not been fixed for years. And I think I only dared to ask why bug XY had not been fixed for so long even tough even a patch had been provided (yes, free code, provided by the community!), when it was a very obvious bug, something that EE users would benefit from as well. I all other cases we had no problem telling our customers, that they have no right to expect any bug fixes from Magnolia as CE users. They never had a problem with it. However all of them (including the EE customers) have a big problem when I tell them what they are looking at when upgrading from 4.4 to 4.5... and now I should do that again?
Funny that you brought up Java: What would you think would happen, when upgrading your app from Java 6 to 7 would meant rewriting half of it? Again: By making the already existing releases available to everyone Magnolia can only benefit in the long run. -will -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=b0816b60-f2a1-4140-94ba-600420b9276f ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <> ----------------------------------------------------------------
