hey there,
I think there should be some instruction on the mailinglist but since i
just installed a bare magnolia3.0.2 to play with it a little.
1.
login in your magnoliaAuthor as an editor
username: editor password: editor
2. open a page and edit it
3. when you click on the webpage button on the left side the treeview of
your pages is refreshed and you see, that the dot next to your altered
page has turned orange.
4. right klick and click on "activate this page"
you get a message box saying"The workflow was successfully started. The
Item was sent to the appropriate inbox"
This message important because it states, that a activation workflow was
started.
5. logout as editor (upper right corner)
login as superuser (username: superuser pw: superuser)
6. klick on inbox
There should be a Workitem for the site
rightclick - "proceed"
The item is gone, the dot turned green
7. check public instance for the change
-> it should be there
