Salut Vincent,

Let us know if you'd be interested in contributing this (which also means svn, jira, ...) - it's been a while I wanted to have a module which would connect Magnolia to the world of services like youtube, flickr and last.fm, so this sounds exciting :)

Cheers,

Hello,

I've developped a Magnolia command that scans the content of a local folder and imports the files into the DMS repository. I'm using it for my website (http://www.psychotonique.be) to import MP3 files that have been previously uploaded through FTP. The command is invoked periodically by the Scheduler module. It is not exactly what you want but I think it can interest you.

I plan to package it in a module that will contain some other useful extensions that I've developped (Media player paragraph, Youtube / DailyMotion paragraph...).

Subject: [magnolia-user] DMS File Browsing

I have a hundreds of files I would like to share from the magnolia
document management system (DMS). It is impractical to upload each of
these files one by one into the DMS repository. Furthermore, I don't
want to create a new copy of a file when they already exist in another
directory. I have a few questions any help is appreciated.

1. Is there a way to load several files into the DMS?
2. Rather than uploading files into the DMS is there a way to
configure the DMS to point to a particular directory and merely show
all the files in the directory?
3. All I am really looking for is a way to browse files and subfolders
in a particular directory on my server from a web page. Is the DMS
built to handle this sort of thing or should I try a different
solution?
4. Where is the DMS documentation found? I could only find a few
general pages on the wiki. Is this all that is available?
