Hello,

I've developped a Magnolia command that scans the content of a local
folder 
and imports the files into the DMS repository. I'm  using it for my
website 
(http://www.psychotonique.be) to import MP3 files that have been
previously 
uploaded through FTP. The command is invoked periodically by the
Scheduler 
module. It is not exactly what you want but I think it can interest you.

I plan to package it in a module that will contain some other useful 
extensions that I've developped (Media player paragraph, Youtube / 
DailyMotion paragraph...).
