The fact that ActionForm was designed originally *precisely* to be a container for the server side state of a JSP/HTML form is totally beside the point :-). Jack doesn't like using it that way, and that's fine -- but that was exactly the original intent. And this is why his ideas don't always resonate with people who use Struts the way it was originally created.
