Hi Josh,

Thanks for this info. I did not have entries for the VMs to use for
reservations. I used the multiple computers option and created a range of VM
slots. I looked closer at the VM Host profile and instructions link and am
using the last option "Network Storage Only - No Repository". I am unsure
however regarding the vmpath settings. It shows that a shared datastore can be
used for the images but that each host should have its own vmpath. I am not
sure how this is possible with a single VCL VM Host profile applied to my
vCenter host. In any case the description about vmpath says that If not
configured, the Virtual Disk Path location will be used.

I'm going to run through the reservation again, now that I have entries for the
VM slots entered and see if there is any difference.

Thanks.

Hi Ariel,

All VMs that will be managed by VCL need to have an entry created for them in
Computer Profiles. They don't need to actually exist on the VM hosts. VCL
will take care of creating the actual VMs. VCL needs all of the profiles
created for how it schedules reservations. They can be thought of as slots
that can be reserved. To aid in adding all of the VM entries, there is a drop
down at the top of the dialog displayed when clicking on Add New Computer that
allows multiple computers to be added at once.

The reason for the failure is that VCL couldn't find the image files for the
image. It's looking for vmwarewin10-T1018-v0. I'm guessing the VM Host
Profile assigned to your VM host doesn't have one of the paths configured
correctly (Resource Path, Repository Path, Virtual Disk Path, or VM Working
Directory Path). More information on each of those paths can be found here:
