Sam, first I have random success trying to create templates using Windows 2012 R2. I had use "OS Type" as Windows 2012 R2, Windows PV and even Other but unable to create templates. I was able to setup a testing cluster of ACS 4.4.1 which seem to be running smoother than ACS 4.4, one only difference is the NFS storage as the production cluster running iscsi.
do you mind pointing to steps you taken to upgrade ACS 4.4 ?
