Hi Trevor, I see that there are some comments from other PMCs. In the last comments Peter choose second row from your proposition [1] - Flat design.
Could you go with other components in that Flat design. Go with the pattern where we can see how button behave on RollOver, rollOut etc. If you wanna know how look specific components I can find an example in our code and post you the link.
