Thanks, Andrea. I haven't customized anything in the program, but I did
have to change some file associations after installing the other day. It
doesn't appear that those have been reversed with the new profile.

When you force the creation of a new profile, the old one can be
deleted, meaning that the new one is already complete. Very advanced
users may want to copy some of their customizations from the old
profile to the new one, but they are not completely independent, so if
you don't know the internal details of a user profile I would simply
rely on the new profile only, and delete the old one.
