OpenOffice runs on a number of different types of operating systems so
you have not really given enough information.
I will assume you are using Windows XP or Vista. Go to the Control
program and Add/Remove Programs (XP) or Program Updates (Vista) and then
find the OpenOffice.org program. Select it and then there will be an
Uninstall button for you to uninstall it.
if you do not use windows then please let us know what operating system
you are using so we can give you instructions
Please let us know what you think is such a problem as then we can
prevent others from having the aggrevation you seem to have had.
