Thanks, Zoltan (sorry I don't know how to make the accent over the a), for the nuances of those disgusting disclaimers I see and try to ignore on too many of my colleagues' e-mails -- Amy Lowenstein, Yardley PA

I know that the company lawyers coming up with these brain-dead, meaningless
and unenforcable threats are not the brightest bulbs in the legal chandelier,
but to advertise their lack of understanding the difference between it's and
its, that is, primary school level English, on every single outgoing email of
their employer is still a classic, even for them.

Yup. And, since this was at the bottom of the email, it basicly said that
"You opened the box containing the conditions of opening the box, so you've
accepted them already and if you don't like them, we sue you to oblivion. We
are American lawyers which means that we have jurisdiction in your country,
even if we've never even heard of it."

Anyway, that was off-topic.

What I can't understand is that this issue with the lack of unsubscribe
information in some posts and its presence in others is not really a new
problem. It has been a recurring flaming topic for at least five years.
I don't know what list server runs this list, but I'd think half a decade
ought to be enough to tell the server to kindly insert the unsubs info into
every outgoing post of any format.

So I guess it is really a care factor issue.
