Thank you for that definitive explanation! In my not-so-humble opinion (as a list owner myself) it is a grevious mistake to allow unsubscribed folk to post their Q's to a list. This results in folks donating their valuable time and brainpower to answer questions, on-list, and the querent will not see the answer. Meaning people's time is being wasted. And the user who needed help feels unsupported. Which does not help, and may even detract from, the reputation of the software being supported on the list.
